We are delighted to announce the promotion of Becky Burrows to Senior Associate marking another significant milestone in her impressive career journey with the firm.

Becky joined Flint Bishop in May 2015 as a Debt Recovery Paralegal following her graduating with first-class honours from Nottingham Trent University. Immediately showcasing her dedication and talent, Becky rapidly progressed through the department and became a key contact for many client relationships.

In March 2018, Becky was awarded a training contract in the Commercial Dispute Resolution department, working on a variety of complex litigation cases for several of the firm’s key clients. Becky was a standout trainee during her 2-year training contract, gaining the confidence of senior team members when assisting on high-level legal matters.

After being continually impressed throughout her training contract, upon qualification in 2020, Becky was offered the significant position of Practice Management Solicitor, a role that did not exist before her appointment. This appointment has proven to be pivotal, providing invaluable support in realising the firm’s ambitious growth plans.

As Practice Management Solicitor, Becky has been instrumental in overseeing various management projects, including the observation and redefinition of core processes across a number of departments. Her dedication and strategic thinking have been evident in her efforts to drive further efficiencies through advancements in IT systems, workflows, data capture, and SLAs. In February 2022, she was rightfully promoted to Associate, recognising her continued excellence and contributions to the firm.

Becky was also instrumental in the successful relocation of the firm’s Derby head office to the new state-of-the-art offices on Pride Park in April 2023. This was a huge milestone in the firm’s long history that required significant investment and has enabled further strategic growth across all practice areas.

Many congratulations to Becky on her well-deserved promotion to Senior Associate. We wish her continued success in this new chapter of her career.
