The CCR Debt Collection Awards is the industry’s leading event, attracting submissions from some of the UK’s largest companies and professional services firms and an audience of over 500 for the ceremony.
Now in its seventh year and hosted by leading credit control magazine Credit Today, the awards recognise the industry’s outstanding efforts and commitment to best practice in debt collection. The judging panel consisted of some of the leading names the UK’s largest financial firms, along with the CEO of the Credit Services Association.
Our winning submission focused on our ‘Intelligent Debt Collection’ offering: a new and innovative approach to debt collection that has brought in over £35m for two of its clients. The CCR Awards’ judging committee praised our approach to debt recovery, in particular citing innovation and excellent financial results, along with high satisfaction levels of their clients.
This caps off a great year for our Dispute Resolution team, who increased their turnover by 45%, were shortlisted for The Legal 500 ‘Regional Law Firm for Dispute Resolution’ Award and increased their commercial litigation ranking in the Legal 500, the leading independent legal rankings guide, to Tier 1. The team is now firmly established as one of the best in the Midlands, with four lawyers individually recommended by the Legal 500 and two partners (Qamer Ghafoor and Andrew Cochrane) included on the prestigious Elite Lawyers List. Commenting on the award, Qamer said:
