We are pleased to announce that three of our trainee solicitors have qualified as solicitors, each joining their chosen practice areas following the completion of their training contracts.

Harry Brogan, Sam Skelton and Raza Zahar have all progressed through the firm’s training programme and will now take up roles within Finance Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, and Fraud and Credit Hire respectively.

Their qualification marks an important milestone in their professional development and reflects the firm’s continued focus on investing in and developing legal talent across its specialist teams.

Harry Brogan – Finance Dispute Resolution

Harry joined Flint Bishop in 2021 as a Legal Assistant in the Debt Recovery department before moving into Finance Dispute Resolution, where he has spent the majority of his training contract.

During this time, Harry has worked on a broad range of matters including contested possession proceedings, landlord forfeiture matters and a significant amount of title rectification work.

Harry has developed strong capability in supporting High Court proceedings, working closely with Counsel and senior lawyers on complex matters for secured lender clients, particularly in progressing cases through to resolution. He is recognised for his technical ability in property and litigation work, alongside a growing commercial awareness and focus on delivering practical, pragmatic solutions for clients.

Harry now qualifies into Finance Dispute Resolution, where he will continue to support lender clients on complex property and title-related disputes.

Sam Skelton – Employment Law

Sam joined Flint Bishop in 2022 as a Paralegal in Commercial Dispute Resolution before completing his training contract across Commercial Dispute Resolution, Corporate & Finance and Employment Law.

During his training, Sam has supported employers on employment tribunal claims and workplace disputes, working on matters from initial instruction through to resolution. His wider experience across litigation and corporate work has provided a strong foundation in commercial decision-making, dispute strategy and understanding the broader business context in which employment issues arise.

Sam is recognised for his strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to manage matters in a structured and reliable way, alongside building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Sam now qualifies into Employment Law, where he will continue to support employer clients with practical and commercially focused advice on workplace disputes.

Raza Zahar – Fraud and Credit Hire

Raza joined Flint Bishop in 2021 as a Recoveries Paralegal within the Insurance Litigation team and has remained within Insurance Recoveries throughout his training contract, gaining extensive experience in Fraud and Credit Hire matters.

During this time, Raza has managed a significant litigation portfolio across fraud and credit hire claims, including staged accidents, low-impact collisions and non-collision disputes. He has taken ownership of cases day-to-day, handling matters from investigation through to settlement or trial where required.

A key part of his training included leading an enforcement and default judgment project, targeting non-compliant insurers and improving recovery outcomes for clients. He has also successfully negotiated and settled defended credit hire cases prior to trial.

Raza is recognised for his initiative, analytical approach and ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently while continuing to develop his expertise.

Raza now qualifies into Fraud and Credit Hire, where he will continue building his experience across complex insurance litigation and recovery work.

We congratulate Harry, Sam and Raza on their achievements and looks forward to supporting them as they take the next step in their legal careers.
