Flint Bishop is seeking to increase staff by almost 21% in the first quarter of the 2015/16 financial year, across two sites: Derby and Ashbourne.
Following a new management structure, which has seen Andrew Cochrane take over as Senior Partner, Qamer Ghafoor as Managing Partner for Commercial Services and Ian Beardmore as Managing Partner for Private Client services, the trio have very ambitious strategies to strengthen and grow the firm.
Due to a major growth strategy and to accommodate a number of new national client wins, our recruitment drive spans across nine departments for all levels of staff.
As a full-service law firm, we boast a loyal client base and continue to win work from numerous household-name clients.
Established a century ago, the firm has grown substantially in the last few years both in terms of size and reputation.
Many of the new hires will be within the Insurance Litigation and Commercial Litigation teams which are led by one of very few elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ in the East Midlands, Qamer Ghafoor. He is described by the Legal 500 as an “A star litigator.. genuinely cares about his cases, works phenomenally hard”. His teams have a cabinet of awards for their work which includes ‘Legal Recovery Firm of the Year’ at the Debt Collection Awards, ‘Regional Firm of the Year – Insurance Litigation’ by the Legal 500 and they are awaiting an awards ceremony this month for their recent nomination as ‘Litigation Team of the Year’.
There are roles available within the Wills, Probate, Tax & Trust, which is the largest team of its kind in Derby; Commercial property, whose high profile deals circa £10-£80m; and Family Law, which has a knowledgeable team whose work spans across the East Midlands.
