Daniel has a proven track record in drafting points of dispute, which has led to significant reductions on assessment.

His drafting ability, combined with the accuracy provided in respect of the predicted reductions on assessment, allows for strong Part 36 offers to be made, and in turn, the added recovery of defendant assessment costs.

In addition, Daniel is a strong cost advocate and has extensive experience in dealing with costs management, from the initial costs budgeting process through to advocacy at cost case management conferences and detailed assessment in both costs-managed and non-costs-managed cases.

Daniel has many years’ experience in dealing with both defendant and claimant cost disputes, such as being the lead costs advisor in an £18m cerebral palsy negligence claim, the costs negotiator and advocate at cost management in £8m catastrophic loss case and the advocate at a costs mediation that saved in excess of £200k for our client.

He completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Derby and completed his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.
