The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations, more commonly known as TUPE regulations, often apply during business acquisitions or disposals, service provider changes, or if you decide to bring a service back in-house.

Our employment lawyers work meticulously to achieve your business transfer objectives by guiding you step-by-step through the transfer of employment.
During the process, we ensure that any effected employees receive adequate information and consultation, as well as managing dismissal restrictions and changing terms and conditions. All of our TUPE law advice is delivered in the most simple and effective way possible, minimising the impact to your business and the risk of tribunal claims being brought against you.
Our Employment team can also provide hands-on support with undertaking your transfer process, involving ourselves in consultation meetings and delivering bespoke letters and advice. You will also be provided access to our comprehensive online document bank, which has a wide range of TUPE law-compliant resources including letters and meeting plans to use throughout the TUPE process.
TUPE regulations
Having gained previous experience of working within commercial, transactional and HR environments, our solicitors are able to provide you with an industry-leading insight into the practicalities of delivering transfers of undertakings within TUPE law.
Regularly assisting large national organisations with TUPE law has taught us the importance of having a comprehensive approach to transferring employment rights. This has resulted in us working closely with our Property, Corporate & Finance and Commercial teams to develop joint processes, which are proven to minimise contractual and corporate document risks.
Our complete TUPE regulation solution protects our clients against claims, whilst ensuring that the transfer is efficiently and cost-effectively completed, within the scope of TUPE law.
