Jessica Gray is a Senior Solicitor in our Ecclesiastical Law team, having joined the firm in September 2025.

Currently serving as Deputy Registrar of the Diocese of York and the Diocese of Sodor and Man, Jessica provides practical and client-focused guidance on ecclesiastical and charity matters, including faculty procedures, clergy licensing, and property-related issues. She is praised for her approachable and commitment to supporting clients through complex and sensitive legal matters, ensuring clear and reliable advice at every stage.

Jessica is also an active member of The Ecclesiastical Law Society and the Ecclesiastical Law Association.

Jessica previously held various roles within the Ecclesiastical team at Lupton Fawcett and qualified as a solicitor in 2022.

Over the years, she has developed extensive knowledge of ecclesiastical law and charity matters, supporting both dioceses and other Christian denominations. Her work includes advising on faculty applications, church property, ordinations and licensing, pastoral reorganisation, and clergy discipline.

Jessica is valued for her practical guidance and her ability to lead clients through complex processes efficiently and confidently.
