Mzwandile Mabhena leads a debt recovery team that mainly handles high volume, contested debt recovery cases.
Mzwandile’s customer care skills are exemplary, and he works methodically to thoroughly understand each case before reaching any decision or responding.
He is exceptionally calm under pressure and takes the time to understand aggrieved debtors before explaining our client’s position to them.
Knowing that understanding the client and their business enables efficient and effective case handling, he encourages his team to objectively review each case individually while always weighing up the likelihood of securing a successful outcome against time and costs spent on recovering the debt.
Adopting a commercial and collaborative mindset and being open and approachable are all key to his own and his team’s consistent success in achieving substantial recoveries for our clients.

He has amassed considerable experience working across several industry sectors ranging from advertising, office stationery, credit union and workwear to government, waste management and delivery clients.
His diverse commercial debt recovery background provides him with the expertise required to tackle industry-specific challenges with authority and tailor his approach to fit individual client needs.
