“A strong local focus with national capabilities. They provide a highly responsive, excellent partner-led service.”
“Very competitive fee rates, good use of technology to simplify matter management.”
“The team is accessible, provides quick responses to queries, and helps with complex issues.”
“Our working relationship with Flint Bishop has positively changed our approach to reviewing and entering into contracts, and also provided us with a better understanding of data protection legislation. The team at Flint Bishop offers clear, pragmatic and timely advice and always communicates in a friendly and professional manner.
We were introduced to the firm by a procurement practitioner, and from our very first meeting, it was clear that they understood the pressures we were facing with updating our contracts. We had a backlog of contracts where we didn’t have the time or expertise to review their robustness concerning the various contractual and related data protection issues.
Because cost certainty is important to us as a charitable organisation, Flint Bishop set up a fixed costs retainer package for us which we have since renewed. The benefit of having a legal team on hand to deal with any contractual queries we might have, without the need to ask for quotes or sign letters of engagement each time, makes its service easy to access. Our previous concerns about interpreting legal provisions and getting contracts over the line in a timely manner, are now a thing of the past, thanks to the legal support from Flint Bishop.”

“I have been instructing Flint Bishop’s commercial team for several years and enjoy working with them. They have taken time to understand our business as well as our risk profile. This has resulted in their advice being tailored to our needs and provided to what are frequently tight timescales. I would happily recommend their services to other businesses.”
Craig Muncaster
Joint Chief Executive and Group Financial Director
“We have used the commercial team at Flint Bishop for many years, and they completely changed our relationship with lawyers. Before we started working with them, we faced challenges whenever a contractual or data protection issue arose. We needed to get a quick answer to our query or advice on how to respond to a client but we did not want to have to start again with a solicitor, update them on our business, agree on costs with them and sign terms of engagement each time we needed help. Before the retainer with Flint Bishop, we relied on what seemed common sense, often making our judgments based on information from internet research. This left us unsure of our position and lacking in confidence needed to negotiate contacts.”
“Flint Bishop provide clear and pragmatic advice on contractual and data protection issues, revisions to our terms and conditions, as well as training and updates on relevant legal issues for a fixed monthly fee. This retainer is perfect for us as it is like having your own legal team at a fraction of the cost of employing one. The service is easy to access, we pick up the phone or drop the team a quick email and, the more we use it, the better the understanding Flint Bishop have of our business, and the more we learn about contractual risk and data protection compliance. We no longer worry about queries raised by our clients or documents that they ask us to sign as we know that Flints are there to help whenever we need them.”

“We refer all of our commercial contract work to the team at Flint Bishop. They are very responsive and clear in the advice that they give us, and we enjoy working with them. They have also provided training on the Bribery and Modern Slavery Acts which was very well received, and which formed an important part of our wider compliance plan. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to other businesses.”

“The team at Flint Bishop have been an invaluable support in helping us implement the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018. They have provided sound advice in difficult scenarios, assisted with writing responses affirming us as a data controller when local authorities suggest we are a data processor and provide a great sounding board when I need to discuss understanding and application of the regulations.”
