Sam Skelton is a trainee solicitor who joined the firm as a Paralegal in 2022, transferring to our Employment department in December 2025 as part of his training contract.

A highly driven and adaptable individual, Sam is recognised for his strong work ethic and commitment to developing as a solicitor while delivering excellent results for clients.

With a conscientious approach, keen attention to detail, and exceptional diligence, he is a valuable asset to the team. Having previously worked in our Dispute Resolution and Corporate & Finance departments, Sam applies his experience of complex disputes and litigation to his current role, helping to mitigate risk and secure the best outcomes for clients.

Since joining Flint Bishop, Sam has gained experience across a broad range of legal areas, including complex contractual disputes, residential possession claims, contentious probate, and corporate and finance matters. He has supported transactional work and developed insight into the commercial challenges businesses face.

Sam has been involved in all stages of litigation—from pre-action through to final hearings in the County Court and High Court—and regularly acts as a key point of contact for clients.

His achievements include assisting in a successful High Court appeal on limitation of liability clauses, removing a caveat in a disputed estate, and securing positive outcomes in residential possession cases. He has also handled debt recovery proceedings for key clients, helping to resolve financial disputes efficiently.

Since transferring to the Corporate & Finance department in June 2025, Sam has continued to build his commercial awareness, providing tailored and practical guidance throughout the business lifecycle.
