If you are instructing solicitors on a regular basis to deal with licensing applications on your behalf for your premises in your estate, or are looking to expand your estate, it may be a good time, and be more cost-effective, to retain our services on a time retainer basis to deal with all licensing aspects across your entire estate.

If you decide to proceed with one of our licensing support packages, we would agree to a reduced hourly fee on the basis that the retainer would be set at an agreed fee for 10 hours of time per month calculated on a rolling basis. The retainer would be on a one-year rolling contract with a formal review in month 10 and over the course of the year, you would be provided with a monthly breakdown of the work carried out.

We do appreciate that some months you would be under the agreed average hours per month, and other months you will go over, but so long as the total hours remain in the agreed set then you would be covered by the monthly fee. In the unlikely event that you do go over the retainer in any given contracted period, we will address the fee on a case-by-case basis.

What does the licensing support package cover?

  • Answering a query and picking up the phone to us when needed
  • Transferring Premises Licence
  • Lodging Temporary Event Notices
  • Attending and representing you at a hearing
  • Minor Variation
  • New Premises Licence
  • Notification of Interest
  • Varying your Designated Premises Supervisor
  • Paying annual fees
  • Attending meetings at your offices, premises or at the authorities
  • Gaming Notifications

Please note that any disbursements such as Council fees or newspaper advertisement charges would not be included and would be charged separately.

Quick access to all your licensing documents

As part of our licensing support package, you will also have your own client portal to allow you quick and simple access to all documents for your estate, such as premises licence, licensing plan and case history.

You will also be kept up to date with relevant licensing news on changes or clarification to the law via the client portal.

Your entire estate can be managed from a single location and it is another invaluable tool for licensed trade operators with all information securely retained and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
