Mark Wilcock is a partner in the Corporate & Finance team and advises on a range of matters from acquisitions and disposals of businesses, management buy-in and buy-outs, share buybacks, complex restructuring and shareholder/investment agreements.

Mark is known for his straight-talking approach and understanding his clients’ commercial requirements as well as their corporate needs.

Mark’s clients include high net worth individuals, SMEs and large corporate bodies across a range of sectors including sport, recruitment, engineering, and technology.

Mark’s career highlights to date include advising a software start-up on a sale to an overseas private equity fund and being lead adviser to a recruitment company on its buy and build strategy across the UK.

As well as transactional work, Mark often advises on general corporate restructuring work including share exchanges and capital reduction demergers.

Although now firmly a corporate and finance lawyer, Mark’s practice previously included advising on commercial law contractual arrangements, bringing invaluable experience to the firm, which also compliments his ability to deal with issues arising in corporate transactions.

Mark completed his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School achieving a distinction.
