Authority to sell alcohol

Keep a written record of everyone on your premises who has authority to sell alcohol, using this free template.

Under the Licensing Act 2003, a personal licence holder must authorise all staff who sell alcohol. This list should be stored somewhere it can be easily accessed in the event of an inspection by the police or licensing authorities. Copies should be kept on site.
