One of the four licensing objectives in The Licensing Act 2003 is to protect children from harm.

This includes the requirement to:

• not sell alcohol to underage patrons;
• ensure that any entertainment on the premises is suitable for children; and
• any events will not lead to substance misuse by or in front of children.
