Martyn Brierley, Mark Wilcock and Mandy Chan of Flint Bishop’s Corporate team have advised Autotrak Portable Roadways on its sale to AIM Listed, Facilities by ADF PLC, with James McBain Allan and Joe Bates of Bishopsgate Corporate Finance providing Corporate Finance advice to the selling shareholders, and Peter Hully of Claritas Tax supporting on Tax.

Facilities by ADF, a leading provider of premium serviced production facilities to the film and television industry based in Bridgend, has completed the strategic acquisition of Oxfordshire-based Autotrak. The deal, valued at up to £21.3 million, will strengthen ADF’s position in the film and high-end television (HETV) sectors.

Autotrak is a major supplier of temporary roadways and one of the UK’s largest suppliers to the film and TV industry. It brings substantial expertise in facilitating access to locations, complementing ADF’s existing offerings. This strategic move is expected to drive growth and innovation for both companies. It underscores ADF’s ambition to generate £100 million in revenue in the medium term by combining Autotrak’s temporary access technology with ADF’s industry-leading location services in the film and television sectors.

Martyn Brierley, Head of Corporate and Finance at Flint Bishop, who led the legal advisory team for Autotrak, said:

“This was an important acquisition for both Facilities by ADF Plc and our clients and we relished working alongside the teams at Bishopsgate Corporate Finance and Claritas Tax, and with the Buyer’s professional advisors Acuity Law and Crowe, to bring this deal to a successful completion. We look forward to seeing the combined businesses growth together, stronger  – a great outcome for all parties involved.”

Maria Fox, Director of Autotrak Portable Roadways said:

“We are excited and looking forward to the future collaboration between ADF, Location One and Autotrak. We have always put the greatest of emphasis on customer service and we believe this move will enable us and the group to achieve this to an even greater extent. We would not have been able to achieve this without our advisers Flint Bishop (legal), Bishopsgate Corporate Finance (Corporate Finance) and Claritas Tax (Tax).”
