We have followed Government guidelines throughout the pandemic and continue to do so to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We are also committed to continuing to deliver high-quality legal services and to maintaining business as usual.

Client meetings

Wherever possible, we will hold client meetings remotely via various online platforms or telephone applications/calls.

If you are required to or would prefer to attend a meeting in person, we ask that you observe these guidelines for the safety and wellbeing of you and our staff.

What to expect when visiting our offices

The following guidelines will only apply once lockdown restrictions have been lifted and we can accommodate client meetings.

You should not attend our offices if you (or anyone in your household) display any symptoms of COVID-19. Wherever possible, we will conduct client meetings via video appointments. If you would like to arrange one, please contact us here.

For our mutual safety, all appointments must be booked in advance. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate a visit to our offices without an appointment.

If you do have an appointment with us, here is some guidance on what to expect:

  • Please note that Reception is operating a one-in, one-out policy. Once Reception is clear, the receptionist will call you through.
  • Please only enter Reception at the time of your appointment. To minimise contact with others, we ask that you do not arrive early.
  • As per the Government’s guidelines, wearing a face covering is now a personal choice, however, it is still recommended in crowded areas.
  • Hand sanitiser is available for your use upon entering Reception and in all of our meeting rooms.
  • To minimise contact, unfortunately, we are no longer providing refreshments for clients.
  • Please follow the guidance of our staff. They are there to ensure that we all remain safe and well.

What happens if I am unable or do not wish to attend your offices for a meeting?

We understand that many people do not wish to attend offices at this time or may simply think that it is now unnecessary; therefore, we can facilitate remote appointments via telephone or video calls.

All of our staff are fully familiar with applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, WhatsApp and FaceTime and we are happy to organise meetings via any of these applications.

Home visits and other out of office visits

The following guidelines will only apply once lockdown restrictions have been lifted and we can accommodate client meetings.

There are certain circumstances where face-to-face meetings are required away from our offices.

We regard these circumstances very much as the exception rather than the rule and they will certainly be far less common than they were pre-COVID. However, in those exceptional circumstances, meetings can be organised, but will have to take place in a manner that is COVID-secure.

Wherever possible, we would ask that such meetings take place outside (for example in a garden). Appropriate PPE such as facemasks and gloves should be worn and social distancing of two metres should be maintained in all circumstances.

Please be assured that we have put in place appropriate measures and have carried out all relevant risk assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and to ensure that they are healthy and well when at work and for their own protection and yours.
