20 July 2018: Ashbourne Charity Golf Day

We were delighted to offer our support at the Ashbourne British Heart Foundation golf day on Friday 20 July 2018.

There were 199 golfers in attendance at Ashbourne golf club with teams entered by businesses such as RTC Group, Spencer’s Estate Agents, Mortgageforce, JH Planning Services, FRP Advisory, Darley Ltd, ACO Ltd, NFU Mutual, FUture Pro USA and many more.

Terry Hunt, Ashbourne charity golf day organiser, comments on this years’ outstanding fundraising:

“I am so pleased to be able to confirm that the 2018 golf day raised £6702.00 for the British Heart Foundation. All the money raised at the golf day will be going directly to the Mending Broken Hearts Appeal, which is a research project into heart regeneration and repair following a heart attack.

The day was a great success made even more successful by the generous sponsorship we received.”

21 July 2017: Ashbourne Charity Golf Day

Our Ashbourne office has continued their support towards the British Heart Foundation this year by donating money to the charity’s 14th annual golf day.

The event was organised by Terry Hunt, an Ashbourne-based British Heart Foundation volunteer and was hosted at Ashbourne Golf Club on Friday 21 July 2017. The golf day was a great success, raising a record-breaking £5,708.00 for this worthwhile charity.

All money raised has gone directly to the charity’s ‘Mending Broken Hearts Appeal’, a research project looking into how the heart could regenerate and repair itself following a heart attack. So far, over £25 million has been invested in this pioneering research, which will potentially save the lives of patients with heart disease in the future.

We have also supported the British Heart Foundation in other events this year, including a themed staff dress-down day for #WearItBeatIt, which raised an additional £200.00 for the charity.

The fundraising carried out by the British Heart Foundation allows for life-saving research into heart disease to continue, which is something Flint Bishop will continue to support in the future.
