Flint Bishop is pleased to say that we have retained our Investors in People Gold accreditation, securing the standard for a further three years until 2028. This achievement reflects our continued commitment to developing our people and strengthening our culture during a period of significant growth.

The Investors in People framework recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in leadership, support, and continuous improvement. Retaining the Gold level places Flint Bishop among the top performers across all accredited organisations, with only 17% achieving this standard.

Strong culture and people-first approach

The latest assessment highlighted several strengths across the firm, including:

  • A strong sense of commitment to Flint Bishop and its direction.
  • Excellent support for learning, development, and progression.
  • Clear alignment of behaviours with the Flint Bishop Values.
  • Leadership from the Chief Executive, Partners, and Heads of Department who exemplify a “do-as-I-do” culture.
  • A socially responsible approach, reflected in the firm’s work on EDI, ESG, wellbeing, and charity initiatives.
  • A culture of accountability where people understand their roles and own their responsibilities.
  • Well-structured reward, recognition, and benefits frameworks.

Feedback from the online survey and on-site interviews reinforced the strength of internal communication, the clarity of roles and objectives, and the firm’s supportive approach to wellbeing.

Colleagues highlighted regular feedback from managers, strong support during periods of personal challenge, and a clear sense of value and recognition across the firm. Many also noted the extensive training opportunities and the firm’s focus on helping individuals develop their skills and progress in their careers.

Building on momentum

Despite retaining the Investors in People Gold accreditation, Flint Bishop views the achievement as a platform for further progress. The assessment has offered clear insight into areas for development, and the firm will continue to refine its people strategy as we work towards the Platinum standard.

Chief Executive, Qamer Ghafoor said:
“I would like to thank everyone who contributed through the survey and on-site interviews, providing valuable and constructive feedback that made this outcome possible. Retaining Gold is a significant testament to our ongoing commitment to our people, and it motivates us to build on our progress and continue evolving.”
