The event, which will take place at Pride Park Stadium between 16:30 and 19:30 on Wednesday 22 April 2015, promises to be a great opportunity for students and local businesses to network and meet leading local and national entrepreneurs.

The overall aim of Network of Entrepreneurs is to create links and bonds between local, national and international entrepreneurs and students at the University that want to start up a business or have an entrepreneurial spirit, create awareness of the support mechanisms that the University and supporters/sponsors can offer to entrepreneurs and increase students’ networking, interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of real-world business set up.

Our guest speaker is a well-known entrepreneur, Dean Jackson of HUUB Design. Their company now proudly sponsor athletes including triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, para-triathlete Phil Hogg, as well as celebrities such as F1 Driver, Jenson Button.

Whether you are a student looking for support or an international organisation, this event caters for all. It helps the community to thrive and give something back to the people that need support in the early stages of their journey, be it through mentoring, sponsorship or sharing skills and links.
