We have been appointed as the sole provider of licensing advice for all of Star Pubs and Bars’ licensed premises, which is the leased pub business of Heineken.

Deal
Having already provided legal advice to part of the brewer’s leased pub estate for some time, this decision means we now act for the entire Star Pubs and Bars estate, which contains some 1,200 licensed premises throughout the UK.
This deal follows a review by Heineken of its UK legal panel, we were retained to carry out licensing services under the management of DLA Piper.
Our Licensing team have extensive experience in licensing law, having developed a wide portfolio of other high- profile licensing clients such as Marston’s PLC.
Commenting on the appointment, the head of our Licensing team, Andrew Cochrane, said:
“Star Pubs and Bars are a fantastic company and we are delighted to secure this appointment. This will see a significant increase in the amount of work we do for Star Pubs and Bars across the UK”.
