Georgina Davis has been promoted to Partner in our Finance Dispute Resolution (FDR) team in Leeds, effective 01 March 2026.

With more than 16 years’ experience in financial services and dispute resolution, Georgina embodies a true “earn your stripes” career journey. She has built extensive expertise across all areas of our FDR practice and consistently demonstrates both technical excellence and strong commercial judgment.

Since joining Flint Bishop in September 2024 as a Senior Associate, Georgina has played a key role in advising lending institutions on a wide range of contentious matters. Her work spans complex and defended possession proceedings, mortgage-related disputes, title rectification (including Land Registry claims), and professional negligence actions against solicitors and valuers. Clients value her pragmatic, commercially focused and cost effective approach.

Georgina qualified as a solicitor in 2014 with Optima Legal, where she spent over six years in the complex litigation department acting for major banks, finance houses, insurers and mortgage lenders. She joined Walker Morris LLP in 2015 as an Associate within the Real Estate Banking Litigation team, where she specialised in secured lending, complex repossession matters, title rectification and professional negligence claims. She was promoted to Senior Associate within two years and went on to further build her expertise and reputation over the following decade.

Looking ahead, Georgina will continue to strengthen existing client relationships, support new client onboarding, and further develop our secured recovery offering. She will also remain committed to supervising and mentoring junior colleagues and helping to develop talent and broaden overall team capability.

We look forward to Georgina’s continued and valued contributions as a Partner and wish her every success in her new role.
