Fixed-fee support package

Available in increments of 12 hours with no long contract commitments, our fixed-fee support package allows our clients to know exactly what they are spending on legal fees over a 12-month period.

We also offer a 24-month contract package, which benefits from an additional discount to our hourly rate.

If you require extra support within either the 12 or 24-month contract, you can bolt on additional time in six-hour increments at a fixed cost per hour.

Ad hoc support

If you do not require a block of time, you can instruct us on an ad hoc basis, which is ideal for specific projects or one-off matters.

All pricing options include:

  • A dedicated solicitor;
  • One working day response;
  • Priority invitations to frequent training events; and
  • Regular legal updates.

Document bank

In addition to the legal advice that we provide within our packages, you will have access to a fully serviced document bank, containing over 130 documents and templates. The documents cover a wide range of HR scenarios, including starting employment, managing employees, workplace changes and employee rights.

The introduction of new data protection legislation has had a significant impact on employers, increasing the volume of policies that they need to draft and keep up-to-date and the number of issues that they need to deal with.

To help ease this burden, our Commercial team offers a data protection support package that can be purchased as a block of hours, at a fixed and reduced price. For employment/HR package holders, this can be added to your existing package, at the same rate as your employment support.

Since the abolition of employment tribunal fees, there has been an increase in claimants defending themselves in court, placing more pressure on employers to prepare cases for employment tribunal, resulting in increased legal costs.

To help employers deal with these challenges, we have launched an employment disputes protection scheme to significantly minimise your exposure to unexpected financial loss and cap your employment business costs.

To compliment your annual retainer or ad hoc package, your business can take out an additional insurance policy to provide financial security. Under the policy, which seamlessly integrates with our services, we are fully authorised to manage your claim by insurers.

Policy highlights include:

  • Covering your legal fees if a claim is lodged against your business. This cover would start at the initiation of the Acas Early Conciliation Process.
  • Cover for any settlements or awards made during the litigation process, including all costs associated with an employment tribunal process, such as Counsel’s and experts’ fees.
  • Tailored policy excesses, indemnity limits and the level of cover for your business to prevent you from paying for protection that will not be required.
  • Optional health and safety criminal prosecution cover and statutory licence.
  • The ability to extended your policy to cover pursuit costs against ex-employees who are acting in breach of their restrictive covenants.
